Change in syllabus for Joint CSIR-UGC NET for JRF and Eligibility for Lectureship

It is notified for information of all students that syllabus of Part A of Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship has been revised. The existing syllabus and revised syllabus is as under:

Existing Syllabus:  General Science, Quantitative Reasoning and Analysis and Research Aptitude.

Revised Syllabus:  General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc.

Note: The number of questions available and to be attempted in this Part A remains the same i.e. there will be 20 questions and the candidates shall be required to answer any 15 questions. Each question will be of two marks. The model questions in the revised syllabus are also available.
