Age: Not exceeding 27 years (Relaxable upto 40 years in case of Government servants)
Educational Qualification:
Essential:
1.Passed B.Sc. with Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Science or equivalent from a recognized Institution.
2.Candidates should possess Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution.
3.Must possess at least one year experience in Medical Laboratory.
4.Must have working knowledge of computers.
Scheme of Examination:
Written Examination: 150 Marks

Skill Test: 50 Marks
Only those candidates who attain minimum-qualifying standard of 40% in the written examination will be eligible to be called for skill test.
Syllabus for Examination:
General Intelligence: The question will be of 10+2 Standard and would include both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may be include questions to test the candidates understanding of English language and its correct usage.
General Awareness: General awareness of the environment around the candidate and its application to society will be tested. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person of 10+2 standard.
Aspects related to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research.
Technical Knowledge: The questions to test the knowledge and competence of the candidates technical knowledge as per standard syllabus of Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) including the fields of Clinical Pathology, Haematology, Bio-Chemistry, Serology, Blood Banking, Microbiology, Immunology etc.
Skill Test: The Skill test to test the practical ability and skill of the candidates in the following fields:
1.Practical knowledge about names, functions and maintenance of different instruments used in Medical testing Laboratories.
2.Skill regarding different clinical test of haematology and blood banking like Hb% TLC, DLC, ESR, Blood parasite, Electrophoresis, Blood grouping & cross matching, blood transfusion reactions etc.
3.Practical knowledge regarding various investigations in clinical pathology involving urine, stool, sputum etc.
4.Practical ability in different activities relating to Clinical Biochemistry, Serology, Immunology etc.
5.Practical Knowledge and ability regarding different procedures relating to Microbiology like preparation of culture media plates & tubes, different culture and staining methods, special microbiological preparations for investigation purposes etc.
6.Practical knowledge of cytology, dehydration, section cutting and staining of histopathology samples and slides.
7.Practical knowledge of Bio-medical hazards and Bio-medical waste management at work place.
8.Skills of working on computer.
